A serious Calman alternative for color-critical work.
Calman is a respected tool. QUBYX is a different bet: hardware-agnostic licensing, native cross-domain coverage (medical + creative + geospatial), and a fleet platform once you scale beyond one workstation.
QUBYX fits when…
You want one ecosystem covering medical (PerfectLum), creative (PerfectChroma), and geospatial (PerfectEPD) You need fleet management across multiple workstations or sites (RemoteQA) You want one-time pricing instead of subscription-style upgrades You want hardware-agnostic colorimeter support (X-Rite, Calibrite, Datacolor, QUBYX SmartSensor) You need OEM-grade integration via SmartSensor S1
Calman fits when…
You are deeply invested in the Calman workflow and pattern library already You work primarily with display-embedded calibration profiles in specific reference monitor lines You need very specific advanced post-production features Calman has built up over time
Side by side, honestly.

Common switch questions.
Will my X-Rite sensor work with QUBYX?
Yes. QUBYX is hardware-agnostic and supports most X-Rite, Calibrite, Datacolor, and QUBYX SmartSensor devices. You do not have to buy new hardware to switch.
Can I import my Calman calibration profile?
You can recreate targets in PerfectChroma using equivalent smart presets. Direct profile import from Calman is not supported because of proprietary format differences.
What about workflow features Calman has that QUBYX does not?
Calman has a long feature history in specific display-embedded workflows. If you depend on those, stay with Calman. If you operate across medical, creative, and geospatial — QUBYX is the one ecosystem that covers all three.
Is the QUBYX pricing really one-time?
Yes. PerfectChroma Pro is $199 one-time with 1 year of updates. No subscription, no auto-renew. See pricing.
Do you offer enterprise pricing?
Yes — RemoteQA Business and Enterprise tiers cover multi-site fleet QA with SSO, RBAC, and dedicated CSM. See enterprise pricing.
